Adax provides the foundation for the A interface between the Mobile Switching Center (MSC) and Base Station Controller (BSC) in GSM Networks which requires the MTP2 SS7 protocol. The Adax High Density Channelized Controller (HDC) provides a high performance foundation for the A Interface with the capability to run up to 124 SS7 MTP2 channels over 4 T1/E1 interfaces for maximum usage of slot space. The Adax MTP2 is integrated to third party MTP3 and higher layers for a complete solution.

The Adax HDC card is available in cPCI, PCI or PMC formats for maximum flexibility in system configuration and platform choice. The efficiency of the Adax cards ensure that minimal burden is taken off the host CPU, leaving most of the system available for running GSM applications.
