The Adax SS7 interface boards offload much of the low level protocol processing burden from the host processor, freeing up the system CPU for higher layers and the application, making for a more efficient solution for the intelligent networks.

The Adax High Density Controller (HDC) is capable of running up to 124 64k SS7 MTP2 channels, or two 2Mb high speed signaling links over 4 T1/E1 interfaces. The HDC is a multiple protocol controller therefore has the capability to run other protocols alongside the SS7, these include SCTP, LAPB/D, LAPF, LAPV5, Frame Relay, X.25 or HDLC. Multiple cards can be installed together to provide a totally scalable, cost effective solution. Available in cPCI, PCI and PMC formats, the HDC enables maximum flexibility in platform choice.

The Adax HDC card has standard open interfaces for easy integration to other vendor products.
