About Us

Adax is bringing its long expertise in signaling reliability and performance to bear on the challenge of carrier grade IP networks and provides a full array of packet processing products, protocol controllers, signaling software and signaling gateways. The broad and flexible Adax product line enables its customers to meet the myriad demands of data-plane and control-plane services in the converging network marketplace delivering a highly available, high performance carrier-grade transport.

Past and Present
In 1982, Adax was founded in Berkeley, California. At the time, Adax was selling X.25 data communications solutions to Unisys, and the OEM arrangement required Adax to supply TCP/IP for the Defence Department’s Data Network. Since then, the Adax product line has evolved along with the networks, expanding from a focus on packet networks and narrowband SS7 to GPRS, 3G, SS7/IP convergence and IMS. Not only has the product line expanded, so has Adax as a business, with regional offices now in Europe, Asia and America.

Over the past 25 years, Adax has provided superior signaling solutions to leading telecom companies worldwide. Customers benefit from the unparalleled flexibility of a complete product set for SS7, ATM and IP. The complete scalability of Adax Protocol Controllers, Blades, Software and Signaling Gateways enables Adax to accommodate any signaling requirement. Customers include Alcatel-Lucent, NSN, Ericsson, Comviva, IPaccess and Nexus Telecom.
