AUSYSTEMS NORWAY CHOOSES ADAX SIGNALING
COMMUNICATION CONTROLLERS FOR SITT - SCALABLE INTENSIVE TEST
TOOL
Adax chosen for its proven product
quality, performance, reliability and support
27th November 2006 – Telecommunications
signaling provider, Adax, has today announced that its ATM PCI
cards are being used by Norwegian Software and Consultancy House
auSystems Norway (part of the Teleca Group) for SITT, for load
testing packet core networks. auSystems Norway has chosen Adax’s
high performing ATM cards because of their flexibility, scalability,
ease of integration and proven track record within the telecom
signaling market.
Based on in-depth technical expertise in GPRS/UMTS, auSystems
Norway has developed SITT to enable operators to test the load-bearing
capacity of GPRS/UMTS data networks. SITT provides operators globally
with the ability for a fast and risk-free introduction of new network
nodes and services, upgrades and reconfigurations of existing nodes
and services, and it reduces the need for overdimensioned network
capacity, which in turn leads to large cost savings.
“When choosing the underlying signaling hardware and software
for SITT we needed a reliable product with a proven track record,
Adax was the obvious choice for us.” said Ole Dag Svebak,
Business Development Manager at auSystems Norway. “The Adax
controller card and comprehensive documentation enabled us to develop
SITT quickly and easily. Throughout the development we had an open
line into to Adax support within the UK and Adax exceeded expectations
with performance, reliability and support. Without solutions like
Adax, tools like SITT would not be possible”.
The market price for SITT is less that 100K€ and can be bought
through auSystems Norway’s distribution partner JDSU. JDSU
was selected because of their professionalism, global reach and
excellent portfolio for wireless operators, meaning auSystems Norway
can focus purely on specialising in software and consultancy for
mobile communications.
Adax offers a complete set of protocol controllers and signaling
gateway configurations that cover a vast range of signaling protocols
and popular hardware formats to provide the right solution for
any signaling requirement. Adax high performance products are available
for SS7, ATM, and IP protocols.
