ADAX HDCII END OF LIFE IS ANNOUNCED
October 31, 2008, Berkeley, CA - Adax Inc, an
industry leader in high performance
signaling infrastructure, has announced the End of Life (EOL) for
its HDCII SS7
signaling controller product range.
The HDCII board has been replaced by the HDC3 board which offers
a new design
with a state of the art processor that leads to increased functionality,
capacity and
performance The HDC3 provides up to 248 LSLs and 8 HSLs, giving
up to twice the
performance of its predecessor. The upper interface from the driver
for the HDC3
board driver maintains complete compatibility with those for the
HDCII boards thus
preserving customers’ software investment in the interface
to the Adax board and
offers a seamless migration path between board generations.
This EOL notice is being issued because one of the main components
on the HDCII
board is EOL by the manufacturer Infineon, and HDCII users have
been
recommended to move to the HDC3.
