Technical White Paper Provides Roadmap for High Performance Convergence

A new white paper, released today by Adax, the industry leader in high performance wide area communications and signaling infrastructure, provides an insight to high performance convergence technology. The paper explains the need to provide high reliability signaling for the new generation of IP-based traffic.

Aimed at engineers and senior managers within telecom equipment manufacturers and operators, “The Need for High Performance Convergence” discusses the robustness of SCTP for softswitches and gateways, and outlines an extended SCTP/T protocol to provide signaling reliability and robustness for IP-based transport.

The new paper provides a detailed analysis of the convergence of high reliability signaling protocols such as SS7 and SSCOP that have developed over many years, with the new IP-based delivery services that will carry multi media content in next generation networks.
