3GSM World Congress, Integrated Signaling Stack helps solve 3G Challenge.

Adax unveiled details of its Signaling 3 strategy today, offering a complete range of hardware and software solutions for signaling applications. Adax's Signaling 3 provides solutions for the 3 networks, 3 signaling protocols and 3 interfaces necessary to control 3G wireless. The product set, described by the company as "the most comprehensive on the market today ", is available as individual controller cards and software modules; as integrated protocol stacks; or as a fully integrated signaling front end that is ready to plug and play.

Adax now offers a totally scaleable signaling strategy for PSTN, IP and 3G wireless signaling . The completion of the Signaling3 product line-up provides major time to market savings through simplicity of design, ease of use and modular components. Together with Adax's common API, this delivers a future-proof signaling solution for GSM, GPRS, UMTS and beyond.

To do this they need off the shelf modules that can be integrated quickly and easily with their application, whilst also protecting their investment in the applications," said Robin Kent, Director of European operations at Adax. The combination of the Adax signaling solutions is available across cPCI and PCI bus architectures and many operating systems to provide maximum flexibility of platform choice. The commonality of hardware, software and API between the Adax products enables prototyping on a workstation, field trials on servers and deployment on small to large scale cPCI racks with no re-engineering or re-design. This gives reduced development time and cost, improving time to market.

The Adax Signaling 3 features distributed signaling providing for greater flexibility for system architecture design and support for High Availability (HA) modules. Link scalability is increased and extra links can be added without impact on the application processor either in terms of system architecture design, cost or performance.
