PARTNERS WITH FLEXTRONICS SOFTWARE SYSTEMS (FSS) TO DELIVER HIGHEST
EVER PERFORMANCE THROUGHPUT ON INTEGRATED NEXGEN SS7 PLATFORM
Remarkable performance levels in excess of 95% sustained
link utilization achieved on a single high density 124 link card
25th October 2006, Reading, UK- Adax Europe Ltd, the industry leader
in high performance signaling infrastructure and Flextronics Software
Systems (FSS), a global end-to-end communication solutions provider,
today announced an integrated SS7 solution capable of sustained
performance throughput at the critical, 1 erlang mark for a 124 link
system. This
is expected to address the capacity requirements of network equipment
providers developing high capacity nodes such as SMSC, HLR etc
and application developers introducing data intensive messaging applications.
The superior performance offered by the nexGen SS7 solution enables
application developers to build VAS systems that can easily handle peaks
in traffic load per link, triggered by situations such as partial link
failure wherein available active links handle the extra traffic burden.
Similarly, for messaging solution developers, nexGen SS7 offers pure
capacity advantage enabling a much higher SMS/sec throughput and sustain
high load over long periods. This is a clear winner in terms of TCO as
it is able to deliver very high capacity on single server with a SS7
card which is equivalent of several servers with multiple cards from
any alternate solution.
Speaking on the benefits of this alliance, Mr Suresh Kabra,
Assistant Vice President, Products, Flextronics Software Systems, said, "The
upsurge in messaging and prepaid applications has created the need for
networks that can support heavy signaling at high rates. Our partnership
with Adax constantly endeavors to raise the performance level of our
solution and enable service providers to meet the ever growing demands
with increased traffic”.
The nexGen SS7 platform comes pre-integrated with the HDC signaling
card from Adax and it offers one of the best performance and unmatched
scalability in the industry. It can be scaled up or down dynamically
and can be configured to support 128 Self Point Codes and can scale from
as low as 2 links to hundreds of links.
Commenting on the power of the FSS and Adax partnership, Robin
Kent, Director, European Operations at Adax, said, “We are pleased to
partner with FSS as they bring to the table tremendous value through
their technological expertise in the communications space. This partnership
has made Adax HDC card running on FSS’ SS7 and SS7 over IP platform,
industry’s first with high capacity and throughput capabilities”.
