Since our last eLetter Adax has announced four new products to add to our hugely popular product portfolio. The AMC version of the highly successful HDCII is the first of many products for ATCA. The new ATMIII product now offers ATM to IP Interworking, switching and routing in addition to AAL5 and AAL2. Read more... The Adax Signaling Gateway has been given a major performance boost with a new SBC (Single Board Computer). The new 1.8Ghz Pentium based SBC has increased throughput and reduced CPU usage with no increase in price so the AdaxGW now offers even better price/performance benefits. The following drivers have been released: HDC driver delta 1.39 A main feature of this driver is reduced CPU usage with smaller packet sizes. We are currently in the final stages of releasing new Frame Relay and ATM drivers. These drivers include new features (release notes will be available) and improved performance. Adax are in the process of producing Universal Linux Drivers. The Linux Operating system is constantly evolving, with new kernels and distributors emerging daily. It is our intention to make Adax drivers flexible, enabling them to work on any permutation of Linux. This together with the Adax streams-based approach offers customers the ability to deploy their code confidently across a range of Linux platforms. |
