Adax is pleased to announce the HDCII-LPe which is a new Low-Profile PCI Express version of its popular HDCII signaling controller. Adax are the first in the market with a Low-Profile signaling card. The product has been specifically designed to enable customers to take advantage of the new generation of space saving, energy efficient, low cost, high performance servers such as the Sun Fire T2000 and X2100 servers. Existing Adax customers can use the new Low-Profile board without needing to change their current application as the driver software is the same for all HDCII board formats: PCI/PCI-X, PCI Express, PMC and AMC. Read more... Adax will continue to support existing and emerging standards now and in the future. During 2007 Adax will be announcing ATCA AMC versions of its current products along with a number of new products for PMC, PCI, PCIe, LPe and AMC. By supporting all of these hardware formats Adax customers can deploy their signaling applications, nodes or systems as quickly and efficiently as possible irrespective of the underlying network interface or architecture. The common software driver across all signaling card formats means that there is no application to protocol interface development required to move between systems. In the previous edition of e-news we announced that the Adax Signaling Gateway had been given a major performance boost with a new 1.8 GHz processor SBC. Together with the high performance HDCII-PMC and ATMII-PMC cards, Adax can now give the following performance benchmark examples: M2PA M2UA M3UA For a detailed benchmark of your Signaling Gateway traffic click here... Gateway to the Future: On March 10, 1876, it’s doubtful that Alexander Graham Bell imagined what would become of the technology he had perfected; wires across the ocean, wires around the world, and signals bouncing off satellites. Communication by voice, video, and text is available nearly everywhere, all the time. Nearly....
