Product Focus

Adax are proud to announce the latest additions to the Adax product family the HDCIII and SDCIII.

The HDCIII is an 8 trunk high density SS7 controller designed for NGN convergence platforms. The HDCIII offers:

8 E1/T1/J1 Trunks per board
A combination of up to 256 LSLs (128 MTP2) and 8 HSLs
AMC, PMC, PCI/e versions from a single driver
Compatible with existing Adax APIs for all previous generation HDC boards

It is particularly suitable for carrier-level applications that require high capacity and throughput. A common software driver and API for all form factors make the HDCIII card a highly flexible and scalable signaling solution for all system architectures. For more information...

The SDCIII is an IP protocol accelerator board for high performance SIGTRAN, IPSec and SIP applications. Specifically designed for the increased demands of IP Convergence and IMS the SDCIII offers:

SIGTRAN acceleration
Offload computationally intensive security functions with IPSec, IKE and SSL/TLS
Runs the Diameter base protocol to support IMS interfaces
SIP interworking and parsing of SIP packets

With an on-board processor and FPGA the SDCIII is ideal for accelerating a number of layer 2 IP protocols and improving IMS network performance. For more information…

What's New!

nexGen MAP Application Platform

Adax teamed up with Aricent and Sun Microsystems at 3GSM to demonstrate their carrier-grade signaling solution. The nexGen solution is an integrated SS7 signaling stack that is high performing, scalable and easy to use. The demonstration consists of two Netra T2000 servers which are using:

Sun's Chip Multithreading Technology (CMT) processor architecture
Four Adax HDCII cards with on board processors and HSL support
Aricent’s nexGen SS7 distributed platform

If you missed this demo at 3GSM Adax are offering you another opportunity to view it.

Adax device drivers and delta release numbers

The software and device drivers that come with Adax hardware are what enable the host operating system to communicate with the board. The software is crucial in terms of making the boards as effective as possible, and here at Adax we are committed to giving customers the best performance possible.

To ensure that customers always have best of breed products, Adax Engineers are constantly looking for ways to enhance these drivers and further improve performance. When these enhancements are made, a new feature added, or a bug fixed, Adax assigns a new delta number to the driver. As part of our Support Service customers with a Service Contract receive an email whenever a new driver delta is available for their hardware. To find out more about this service, or to check that you have the latest software release, please contact your account manager.
