ADAX SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH KEYNOTE SIGOS
Hardware and software solutions support testing
and measurement of mobile operations

17 April 2007 – Signaling vendor, Adax Europe, is announcing long-term
agreements to supply its frame relay software and HDCII-PCI controllers
to telecommunications testing specialist Keynote SIGOS.
Keynote SIGOS will be using the Adax solutions to support its SITE (SIGOS
Integrated Test Environment) system, a facility which is used by network
operators to test and measure their entire mobile network operations.
The HDCII-PCI has been selected because it is ideally suited to SS7-based
protocol stack implementations and supports the frame relay required
for Keynote SIGOS GSM Gb-Interfaces.
“We are constantly looking for technologies which can enhance
our offering and the Adax solutions offer us greater functionality and
management capabilities,” explains Norbert Neumeister, Head of
Marketing and Sales at Keynote SIGOS. “The Adax HDCII PCI controllers
are small-sized, standard PCI boards with Linux support. They are fully
and easily configurable, compliant with all the specifications we require
and have a proven track record in SS7 protocol stacks. Because Adax is
also a technology partner to Aricent, its technology integrates seamlessly
with the Aricent Gb interface stacks we have deployed.”
Keynote SIGOS SITE is used by more than 50 major operators around the
world, including Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2, Orange, Turkcell, Etislat, Maxis,
CellC... The system provides continuous monitoring, comprehensive core
network testing, detailed measurement activity, support for new technologies
(i.e. GSM, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS) without loss of quality, powerful scripting,
and a flexible, modular structure.
“Adax is delighted to be supporting Keynote SIGOS in the ongoing
development of SITE through this new agreement,” comments Robin
Kent, Director of European Operations at
Adax Europe. “Our technology is helping some of the leading telecommunications
equipment manufacturers and service providers to support their customers’ existing
and emerging network requirements. Adax is at the forefront of
telecommunication infrastructure innovation and is firmly committed to
extending the breadth
of its product offerings in the future.”
